Costumes

We have been also working on setting up some costumes for the Dark Skies adventure that we want to go to this year. We have some nice costume jewelry already lined up and we want to get more. We really were thinking about dressing like Pirates but I kinda got a good idea from Mike who wants to go as Gypsies. I’m not sure if Gypsies are our thing but maybe a cross between that and a Pirate. I was also thinking about a Renaissance type costume because we already have that pretty much put together. We will see when the time gets a little closer. It’s not until June so we have some time to decide. But we have to have costumes this time for sure.

Our Mail

Our mail is still screwed up after over a year now. I have had several phone calls in the past few days from workers at the post office that assure me that we will be getting our mail in our mail box and that there will be no more problems with the mail for us. I find that hard to believe as that is what we were told by plenty of people at the post office for the past several months and we still have no mail. Our mail boxes are right out at the street and it should be no issue to get the mail to us. It seems that they are just not willing to do their job and would rather do more work by sending all of our mail back. I seriously wonder how much it costs to send mail back instead of just sending it to its destination? What a waste of time and money.

Get out of the house

Finally there are starting to open up some options for us for a nice vacation. Maybe somewhere outside this city that we can escape to and get a little r and r. I found some information on Pigeon Forge cabin rentals and that looks like one possibility. Now that we have almost completed the RV we are also looking into going to a few different places on a road trip sort of vacation. We still have a couple of safety items to repair on the big bus but all in all we are pretty much nearing completion on getting this once stripped piece of junk back to a livable mobile recreation vehicle. So now the only dilemma is to decide where we want to go to get out of the house.
