Las Vegas Hotels, The Sahara

Posted in Travel at 4:52 pm by Link The Planet Staff

If you are walking down the strip and you find yourself at the corner of Sahara and Las Vegas Blvd. then you are in the right place. The Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas is the premiere spot with a taste of the good life for everyone. The NASCAR Cafe is one of the nest dining experiences in Las Vegas. Being in the real city that never sleeps we get to frequent the casinos and hotels any time we want. We have spent many a day a the Sahara a real Vegas hotel. Las Vegas is home to many great hotels but none that can offer you the entertainment that the Sahara does.

We are nothing short of thrill seekers and one of the greatest rides if not THE greatest ride is located in and out of the Sahara. This Las Vegas hotel will send you on the ride of your life with their NASCAR inspired “SPEED” roller coaster. From zero to OH MY GOD in seconds, loops, and a very serious upside down view of Las Vegas, this is the wildest roller coaster we have ever been on …. 47 times.

If you are looking for a Las Vegas hotel deal, look no further than the Sahara Hotel! You can’t beat the $1 Blackjack tables either. Where most of my time is spent. I love to win and I love to win at the Sahara.

Going Camping? Get The Right Gear

Posted in Travel at 12:16 pm by Link The Planet Staff

I came across this website that offers camping gear and survival gear for every occasion. Earth Articles offers tons of stories and submissions from other campers and hikers so if you want to get involved this is the place to see. Their Camping Supply Store offers great deals on camping equipment as well. You can find great deals and discounts from stores like REI and Upside Over, that you wouldn’t normally get.

Submit your camping and hiking stories and images and check out the new Survival Gear Testing they are doing around the Nevada area. I think they are going to be recording video from the trips and trying out different Survival Packs from different manufacturers to see if the can really stand up to ANY situation for the allotted amount of time they claim to be useful!

Get out of the house

Posted in Travel at 7:48 am by Link The Planet Staff

Finally there are starting to open up some options for us for a nice vacation. Maybe somewhere outside this city that we can escape to and get a little r and r. I found some information on Pigeon Forge cabin rentals and that looks like one possibility. Now that we have almost completed the RV we are also looking into going to a few different places on a road trip sort of vacation. We still have a couple of safety items to repair on the big bus but all in all we are pretty much nearing completion on getting this once stripped piece of junk back to a livable mobile recreation vehicle. So now the only dilemma is to decide where we want to go to get out of the house.
