Educational Trips
Spanish Class in our High School was the best class that I had. I’m sure all of the students would agree that took that class Senior year. Everyone who maintained a 84% GPA in the class and had the money to put in on the educational travel adventure, got to go to Spain for a week with the school. I was never very good in Spanish Class although I did try very hard.
Having the chance to see what the real culture of any language is real world educational experience. HemisphereTravel.com has a ton of information for schools to see how easy travel education can be and how affordable even large class trips can be. Being able to really show your students what the world has to offer and not just pictures in text book. That is education at it’s finest. I remember seeing the pictures of the White House in out text books and on slide shows at school, but not until I went to Washington DC and got to see that magnificent building in person did I really appreciate that bit of history.
I hope every school takes advantage of sites like Hemisphere Travel. Your students will thank you later in life when they realize how huge this tiny world can seem. Someday maybe we will see schools booking trips to the moon and Mars to get a hands on feel for space education. Who knows???
